Happy World Animal Day 2020. This Year, We Are Foc..

HAPPY WORLD ANIMAL DAY 2020 💙

This year, we are focusing on humane, force-free training in line with our latest initiative, Teach With Kindness #ChooseForceFree.

For decades, SPCA has seen cases reporting the use of forceful and aversive animal training methods, predominantly in dog training. These include beating, kicking, choking and hanging. We are calling for a comprehensive review and enhanced regulations in the training industry, as well as renewing our call for a ban on the electric shock collar.

Help us help them! Here’s what you can do:

1. Sign the pledge at http://teachwithkindness.spca.org.sg and read our Resources page

2. Trade in your aversive tool for a free no-pull harness (visit link above for more info)

3. Join our pet care webinars & check out our WAD promos at http://spca.org.sg/webinars2020

4. Share your training stories and hashtag #chooseforcefree #teachwithkindness

Video: Collins Debden pledges to donate $4 to SPCA for every purchase from the Maru and Mia notebook collection on the Collins Debden website.
