ACRES WILDLIFE DIARIES: EPISODE 5 WORLD PANGOLIN DAY

It’s #WorldPangolinDay. Scaly and bumbling, pangolins are rather adorable and unique-looking. However, pangolins are one of the most heavily poached and exploited mammals in the world, targeted for their skins, scales, and meat.

In #Singapore, their major threat is becoming a roadkill due to habitat fragmentation from developments. As 2021 has been pretty Pangoliney, here are some pangolin rescues featuring our volunteers Laurie Day and Chetna Dogra along with our rescue officer @Nur Syazleena in action!
