Happy World Wildlife Day 2021

Happy World Wildlife Day! Malaysia is known for its diverse wildlife but some of them are threatened by poaching and loss of habitat. In WWF-Malaysia, we work to conserve the Malayan tigers, Bornean elephants, orang-utans and sea turtles.

.

We also collect data of wildlife species through camera-traps. This #WorldWildlifeDay, let’s give a shout out to wildlife that play an important role ecologically in keeping our forests healthy. This year’s celebration is themed “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet” and it focuses on the central role of forests, forest species and ecosystem services in sustaining the livelihood of people around the globe.

So let’s keep our Malaysian wildlife in their natural habitat.

.
