Caught in a snare, alone and helpless – poor Karoniko had to face all of this by herself, before she was found and rescued! 😨😢

As part of our mission to improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, our team is out there every day trying to save desperate animals from terrible situations. No matter how hard it is, we constantly work to provide them with the care they need and deserve. Please help us keep up the good work!

When we first saw Karoniko, her right front leg had a massive laceration caused by a snare. The trap was caught in her front leg and tore into her skin. Her wound was severely infected and Karoniko was struggling to walk. Thankfully, our rescue team was able to bring Karoniko to safety. Unfortunately, her leg had to be amputated to prevent further infection – poor Karoniko, how much pain she must have suffered 😢🐾

At first, Karoniko was very fearful and didn’t get along with the other dogs. We don’t know Karoniko’s background story, but her behaviour tells us she might have been through a lot during her five years of life.

Karoniko was not only traumatised physically, but also psychologically. As a free-roaming dog, she was not used to anyone showing her care and compassion – even though that’s how she should have been treated her whole life!

Thanks to Soi Dog supporters like you, Karoniko has now recovered from her injury and is getting more confident every day. It is our mission to provide animals a safe space where they can enjoy their life, not having to worry about anything else but their wellbeing and happiness.🙏💕

With just a small contribution, you can help us make a huge difference to the lives of dogs such as Karoniko. With no government funding, we truly cannot give dogs like her the ongoing shelter, safety and support they need without you.🧡🙏

Please DONATE NOW to give more dogs the chance to receive treatment and live the happiest life possible!
