Young Vergo Is Another Off-Island Urgent Arrival T..

Young Vergo is another off-island urgent arrival – this poor puppy was the victim of a terrible abuse that left him with not one, but 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝘀… 😱😱 During the current global health crisis, and despite the regulations in place in Thailand to safeguard animal welfare, dog abuse cases have been scarily increasing. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. 🧡🙏

Thankfully, Vergo was found by a local volunteer in Phang Nga, who immediately contacted Soi Dog and asked for help as Vergo was unable to walk, not eating and also very dehydrated – the pain Vergo had to go through must have been unimaginable! 😥 Sadly, once he arrived at the shelter, the struggle wasn’t over: Vergo also tested positive for canine distemper… which didn’t make his recovery any easier. He had to undergo several surgeries for his broken legs, and weeks of quarantine to avoid contracting any possible infection.😓💪

After 3 weeks, he is now safe and sound out of the distemper unit, and has fully recovered from his surgeries. 💪😎🐾

Vergo would have not survived much longer in those conditions, luckily, he was rescued, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽? 📣
