佳节假期前夕，昨晚我们却接到紧急求助，有只黑浪浪严重受伤倒在路旁痛苦哀嚎 😢

狗狗暴瘦如材，头颈部有一大片苍蝇蛆虫伤口 (maggot wound)，不断流出脓血水，严重脱水到连站起来的力气都没有，不知道他到底几天没有进食和喝水了 …. 😭

感激爱心兽医愿意牺牲休息时间，答应我们请求开门为狗狗紧急夜诊 🙏 在清洗伤口和注射药物的时候，狗狗多次都因疼痛而哭喊，让人好心痛 😢

他坚强撑过了昨晚，但情况依然非常不乐观，因为一般这样的情况，很多狗狗都会因严重细菌感染、而败血病死亡 ….. 目前狗狗还是动也不能动，只能吞进一点水

从伤口取出的苍蝇虫都是死的，兽医推断是有人帮忙喂药，狗狗伤口也像是有人帮忙喷药，但这边也想呼吁大家 … 如果伤口已经很严重了，原地喂药其实并没有太大帮助 … 加上如有脱水、不吃不喝等情况，狗狗是必须住院吊水和接受抗生素或其他药物治疗的，感恩大家齐心帮浪浪 🙏

而一般这样的伤口，也都因在狗狗受伤初期时没人帮助，才会被苍蝇蛆虫腐蚀到这个地步，如发现浪浪有小伤口，真心希望大家能伸出援手，到兽医诊所购买药物原地投药，避免伤势恶化 🙏🙏

(其实只需拍下浪浪的伤口，相信诊所的兽医护士就会建议需喂食的药物)

On the eve of the festive season, we received an urgent call for help last night, a black stray doggie was seriously injured and fell on the roadside and wailed in pain.

The dog is as thin as a rake, with a large maggot wound on his head and neck, constantly bleeding pus and blood, and is so dehydrated that he has no strength to stand up. We don’t know if he hasn’t eaten or drink for how many days 😭

We’re grateful that the kind veterinarian was willing to sacrifice his rest time and carried out emergency night treatment for the dog 🙏 When cleaning the wound and injecting medicine, the dog cried out of pain few times, which made us heartbroken 😥

He has survived last night, but the situation is still not optimistic, because in this situation, many dogs will die from severe bacterial infections and septicemia ….. At present, doggie is still unable to move and can only swallow a little bit of water.

The maggots removed from the wound are all dead. The veterinarian inferred that someone had helped to feed the medicine. The dog’s wounds also seemed to be sprayed with medication.

But we wish to spread some important messages to everyone … If the wound is already very serious, feeding medicine on the spot does not actually help much … In addition, if the injured animals are dehydrated and do not eat or drink, they must be hospitalized to put on drip and to have antibiotics or other medications 🙏

(In case if there is a caregiver, we wish to inform that this dog was rescued in Masai area)

Such wounds are caused by maggots because there is no help received at the initial stage of the dog’s injury. If you find that the stray animal has small wounds, we sincerely hope that everyone can lend a helping hand, and go to the veterinary clinic to buy the medicine to feed them to prevent the injury from getting worse 🙏🙏

(In fact, just take photos of the stray’s wounds, and we believe the veterinary crew at the vet clinic will suggest medicines that need to be fed)
