The night before he passed away, I spoke to him and said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. So I looked into his eyes and he gazed at me attentively while listening to me .

I narrated to him how we first met at SPCA, how he came to stay with us, the good times we shared together and what a good friend he had been to us, and how dutifully he had done his job. I told him i enjoyed his companionship and hoped he enjoyed being with us ….
