Dear Friends old and new,

We have been blown away by the support we have already received to date to help us make the move from our current Transit Centre location and transform the new land at Janda Baik into a permanent sanctuary for 50 special case dogs. There really aren’t words to do justice to our gratitude, so we will simply say a HUGE HEARTFELT THANK YOU once again!

Around a month ago we shared the news that the ‘unthinkable’ had happened and we’d been given just six weeks’ notice to move out. The task seemed insurmountable, but with your wonderful continued support we got there… ALMOST! YOU raised RM65K – enough for the initial building work of 2 houses for the workers.

And then the unthinkable happened again – it seems lightning can really strike twice and it never rains, but it pours!! Our contractor has now quoted an additional RM122.3K to create the larger enclosures for the dogs ( including the huts for all 17 enclosures ) so they can happily and safely roam about. This extra expense is due to the need now to move the whole ‘Transit Centre’ set up to Janda Baik instead of having the two locations running alongside each other.

As our eviction deadline looms ever closer – now just TEN DAYS away, we desperately seek your support to help us get the new place habitable and fit for purpose to ensure these current 50, and any future, innocent, vulnerable animals that can’t be returned to the streets can live out their natural lives safely and happily.

We know it’s a lot to ask and the challenge seems enormous once again, but we truly believe that together we can rise to it. Any contribution, small, medium or large gets us closer to the goal.
