MORE FOOD AID SENT TO UKRAINE

Among the many actions we’re taking right now to provide food and supplies for shelters and the pets of refugees, we just sent 1,700 euros to Claire Mallet’s shelter in Paltava, Ukraine. She has 200 souls depending on her right now and Claire is doing her best to find sources of food. Here’s what she has to say (please note that the TRANSLATION is imperfect)

“In my shelter there are 200 animals from the street and I am alone with them! with no support and help! there is war in the country, I beg everyone, help us survive! We have a very serious grocery problem. All the stores where i used to buy food for my pets are now closed due to lack of food. The croup warehouse still works, the rest of the products (pastes, dry food, meat) – with great difficulty, but for now you can find and buy. Friends your donations are very important. Now, the main thing is to stock up on everything necessary for these babies, namely: food and medicines. I have a lot of (animals with) disabilities. There are spineless animals, blind, with epilepsy and dogs without one/two legs. Medicines are always needed. Same antibiotics , vetting meds. and we don’t even have bandages in pharmacies anymore, I can’t find a battery for my flashlight every day, but when it gets dark all over the city and in the shelter, the electricity is turned off.

urgently need to stock up on everything you need! And most importantly, it’s food for my two hundred dogs and cats. I beg you! Help us survive this nightmare and stand on! we need to survive! I will be with them and never leave them, never leave them, but your support and kindness are vital.”
