LittleBear arrived at Soi Dog over three years ago now, but the memory is still fresh in the minds of our vets. Such shocking injuries aren’t easily forgotten. He’d been slashed across his face and neck with a machete, and he was losing a dangerous amount of blood.

LittleBear was rushed straight into surgery to stem the bleeding and reconstruct his wounds. The procedure was lengthy but successful, and he healed remarkably quickly afterwards. In fact, there’s only seven days between photos one and two, and a further nine days between photos two and three!

While LittleBear was smiling on the outside, it took time for him to truly feel it on the inside. There’s a gap of many months between photos three and four, during which time he was receiving the support of our behaviour team and working on rebuilding his trust in people.
