The Sunda Pangolin is a species of pangolin that is widely found in Southeast Asia 🌏. These nocturnal, insect-eating creatures play an important part in our ecosystem by controlling the population of ants and termites 🐜

To protect themselves from predators, they will curl into a ball to shield the more vulnerable parts of their body. The name “Pangolin” was actually derived form the Malay word “Penggulung!”

Unfortunately, this defence mechanism isn’t as effective with humans. The shy and solitary creature is said to be one of the most trafficked mammal in the world!‼️
