Toff Found His Furrytailending With A Soi Dog Volu..

Toff found his #furrytailending with a Soi Dog volunteer! 🧡

Toff was only a week old when he was abandoned at a temple back in 2013. For his safety, he was brought to Soi Dog where he grew into a big, healthy, handsome boy.

During his four years at the shelter, Toff charmed many volunteers but none more than Caitlin here. The pair built a truly special bond, and Caitlin knew she had to give Toff a forever home. 🏠

It’s been a further four years since Toff joined Caitlin in British Columbia, Canada, and here’s what life has been like for them since then in her words:

“I truly, truly can’t properly express what this dog means to me, and it’s all thanks to the incredible daily efforts of the Soi Dog Foundation that he’s here at all with me, and as a result, has changed my life in so many ways.

We’ve learned and grown and have been figuring out life together these last few years, together being the key word, and there’s no other companion I’d rather be doing so with! He’s my hiking buddy, running buddy, reading buddy, and snuggle buddy, always up for either an adventure or a good long nap while I read one of my enormous books.

In the last four years, he’s gone on road trips, spent time backstage at a theatre, worked part-time at a bookstore as moral support during the peak pandemic, gone boating, snowshoeing, climbed mountains, visited the ocean, tried ice cream and decided it’s his favourite food ever, and even made some friends of his own despite his “better judgement” when it comes to other dogs haha. I only have to look at him to feel just overwhelmed with love! He’s even been a big part of the inspiration for me to go back to the school in the fall for vet tech, which I’m hoping will someday lead to a career in animal rescue and welfare.

In short, this is just to say thank you so much for all you tirelessly do, for dogs in Thailand, and dogs everywhere, without fail. It’s inspired me to no end! But most of all, with all my heart, thank you so much for Toff, my greatest friend.”

Can you help a dog like Toff find their best friend and their place in the world? htps://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
