With Great Sadness, Sspca Wishes To Inform Those W..

With great sadness, SSPCA wishes to inform those who knew her and worked with her, that our past Chairman, Rebecca D’Cruz, passed away after a long illness.

“Rebecca was my mentor, my pillar, my friend. She taught me all I know about managing animal welfare and stakeholder engagement. Together we worked on rabies issues, together we worked on the ground in 2017, probably the worst year of many of our lives.” – Datin Dona Drury Wee.

The vast knowledge and experience Rebecca brought to the table in her years as Chairman from 2009 until 2022, the depth of her thinking and level headedness will be truly missed by many of us.

SSPCA wishes to express our deepest condolences to her family.

Rebecca, you will be missed but you will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Rebecca. 🙏🏻
