Peter had a rough journey so far. He has signs of once belonging to someone (he still has collar marks and often looks around like he’s searching for home). Sadly, he’s had two adoption trials that didn’t work out — but that’s not his fault. With the right guidance and some obedience training — especially to help with food aggression — Peter could become an amazing family companion.

He’s cheeky, full of energy, and just needs someone patient who can help him settle and thrive. Peter is also a dog who chooses you — he seems to bond selectively and has shown clear preferences for certain people. But once he decides you’re his person, he’s loyal and full of love.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
