Fostering an animal can be a wonderful bonding experience for you and your family. The rewards are intangible, as you would be actually saving a life and making a difference.

Recently, we have seen more ready volunteers (18 years and above) sign up with us, to foster suitable animals. (SPCA staff, too, have been fostering very young animals, all this while.)

Introduced to help us save lives, fostering is a way of providing individual attention and accommodation for animals too young to be kept in a shelter (i.e. less than 2 months old) or animals that need specialized care (requiring medical treatment or behavioural rehabilitation).

By helping to foster animals until space becomes available in our shelter or the animals have become older and better able to cope with kennel life, you are helping us save more lives.

Do refer to this page to find out more: http://www.spca.org.sg/helpus_fosterparent.asp

If you’re at least 18 years, and are ready to be a foster parent, come join us on our Foster Care programme! You would be nurturing a life in its most formative years of development.
