Adoption Spotlight Ralph. Sometimes It Gets Hard T..

ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT: RALPH

Sometimes it gets hard to breathe. /ᐠ . ֑ . ᐟ\

I was wandering the streets of Bukit Batok in April 2022 when a nice lady called the SPCA – she was worried that I was lost. Since no one claimed me, the SPCA hoomans classified me as suspected abandoned. Unfortunately, it’s tough tracing such abandonment cases because there are no regulations requiring pet guardians to register or microchip us meows.

The SPCA hoomans noticed that I was having trouble breathing. I underwent chest radiographs and it was discovered that I have feline asthma. It may be a lifelong condition, but it’s controllable with medication (which I’ve been responding well to!) and avoiding asthmatic triggers.

I’ve been at the SPCA for a while now, and I think I know why. Hoomans see me as a sickly cat, but I pawmise I can be just as normal as any other cat, you just have to recognize the signs of an asthma attack and bring me to the vet if it happens. I know I may be a little more expensive to care for, but the love I can give is worth every dollar.

Will you be meow’s?
