🌊📖Tun Mustapha Park Acknowledged In The Malaysia Book of Records For The Largest Coral Fragment Planting Ever✨
For Tun Mustapha Park (TMP)’s ninth gazement anniversary, 1,000 reef stars were deployed across a massive 1,000 m2 in Simpang Mengayau, with over 12,000 coral fragments, involving nearly 500 participants, including Sabah Parks, WWF-Malaysia, and Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
🙌 Huge shoutout to Sabah Parks, as well as all the partners, including the local communities, for their incredible support and dedication to marine conservation!
This achievement also displays Sabah Parks’ commitment towards achieving IUCN Greenlist for TMP. This collaboration exemplifies a model of effective conservation by government agencies and its partners through capacity building and partnerships.
