Together with the Department of Fisheries Sabah, awareness sessions in Tun Mustapha Park and Semporna are helping fishers become stewards of the sea by strengthening understanding of endangered, threatened and protected species and encouraging sustainable fishing practices.

Supported by the European Union-Civil Society Organisation Fishery Improvement Project, these efforts are contributing to thriving marine ecosystems and sustainable livelihoods for coastal communities.
