JUST THE SADDEST NEWS…
Dear little Emmy whom we featured recently on facebook in an effort to find her a home, has sadly passed away suddenly today at the Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket.

We think she suffered a heart attack or stroke, but there were no prior warning signs that anything was wrong as she seemed herself & her routine blood test in June was completely normal.

We are all devastated at this news, none more so than the shelter staff, volunteers & Emmy’s carer (Khun Dah) who’s looked after her for several years. Emmy was a shy dog who’d recently started to enjoy human company, so much so that we were trying very hard to find her a forever home. Emmy touched many of us with her cautious but sweet personality. She spent many happy days being cuddled & fussed over by volunteers, especially Danish volunteer”Line” (pictured with Emmy) who spent lots of quality time with Emmy & no doubt contributed greatly to her change in personality over the last few months.

We’re very sad that Emmy never found her forever home & she will be sadly missed by us all. Rest in peace Emmy darling, you will be forever in our hearts.
