HALLOWEEN WEBS CAN BE DANGEROUS!

This Western Screech Owl became entangled in Halloween netting and was found hanging upside down right outside the front door of a California home.

�When we opened the door he just hung there and blinked at us!� the homeowner said.

The Marin Humane Society was called in and a humane officer gently snipped away the fibers that tied the little owl to the porch. The owl was then taken to the wonderful wildlife experts at WildCare in San Rafael.

Halloween “webs” and traditional garden netting can be dangerous and sometimes deadly traps for wildlife.Consider using safe & natural decorations to celebrate the season.
