Rover Has His Stitches Removed And Moves Out Of The Clinic

Hi, its Rover here. In case you havent heard of me you can read about how I came to Soi Dog by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.650689678306104.1073742560.108625789179165&type=3

I am happy to tell you that things are starting to improve for me. I was recently attacked by a man with a knife and ended up with a horrible wound on my shoulder. I was so scared and when people tried to help me I would running away as I thought they were going to hurt me too. Eventually, I ended up in someones yard and they rang Soi Dog to come and get me and I was taken to the clinic for treatment.

When we arrived at Soi Dog, a person called a vet looked after me sewed up the wound on my shoulder as they said it wouldnt be able to heal on its own. The vet told me that Soi Dog was able to help me because of the Emergency Response Team (https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html), which made it possible for Soi Dog to send someone to get me and for me to get the vet treatment that I needed.

The good news is that I had the stitches taken out the other day and I have now been moved to the medical treatment runs. This is much nicer than being in the clinic as these runs are outside and I can see whats happening and enjoy the fresh air. The vets still come and visit me here to make sure my wound keeps healing and that it doesnt get infected.

I know I keep saying it, but I really am so grateful that people helped me and I really hope over time I can learn to like and trust humans again. Thank you members of the Emergency Response Team, without you I dont know what would have happened to me. If you are not a member of the Emergency Response Team but want to help other dogs like me, please join today by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
