Cat rescued from a tree, somewhere in Ang Mo Kio

Earlier today (Sep 23, 2014), we were alerted to a cat seen perched on the high branches of a tree there. The kitty was suspected to be in distress, as related to us by our informers.

Our rescue pair, upon arriving at the scene, appraised how they could reach the kitty with their longer catchpole. A ladder was deployed too for this rescue mission.

Applying some strategy and well-timed movements, they succeeded in hauling the cat to safety, after it came within grasp of the catchpole.

The cat could then be hauled away from the branches as one officer clutched on to it, then lowering it safely to the ground.

The cat was then set free from the catchpole and then released safely on the ground. It didn�t sport a collar, and from our informers� awareness too, had to be a community cat.

Kudos to our two different informers, for alerting us to the cat�s distressed state.
