It’s International Polar Bear Day! While polar bears are popular internationally, let us look at a slightly lesser known bear – the Malayan sun bear.

In December 2013, one of our field biologists stumbled upon a snared sun bear. With the help of the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP) it was rescued, rehabilitated and have since been released back into the wild.
