World Wildlife Day At Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, Penampang.

On 13 March 2015, we organised a World Wildlife Day event at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, Penampang. It was a collaboration with Sabah Wildlife Department. Seven secondary schools (SMK SANZAC, SMK La Salle, SMK Taman Tun Fuad, SMK All Saints, SMK Inanam, SMK Bandaraya, and SM Stella Maris) from Kota Kinabalu took part in three World Wildlife Day contests which were held for an entire month before the event. At the event we announced the winners of essay, poster, and photography contests.

The event was also graced by Sabah’s Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Environment Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun who at the end of the ceremony announced RM35,000 to be allocated to the participating schools for their future environmental awareness activities.
