Our Species Team Community Officers are back from interviewing the indigenous people of Belum-Temengor in a survey to measure their awareness towards conservation, and they have a message:

What counts as a typical day for us? Enjoying nature at its most spectacular by the lake and waterfalls in between chasing down respondents. But that didn’t make it any less awesome! A big shout out to these amazing bunch of people who were with us during our community survey in June at Belum-Temenggor. Thanks for your participation and enthusiasm in carrying out the Orang Asli interviews – some of you were motivated to the extent of looking in every nook and cranny and running in circles after the Orang Asli men and women! Alas, we had a tremendously positive response and hope to do more of similar activities in the future. Join us next :)
