Updates On 20th Aug 2015

Just yesterday (19 Aug), SPCA went to the rescue of a cat stuck in a tree, in Serangoon Central.

Our rescuer, Daniel, used a catchpole to lift the cat from the branches that it was wedged between, and brought it safely to the ground.

Although the cat appeared flustered, it was unharmed. The ginger ear-tipped cat, being a community cat, was then released.

We thank our informer, Mr Terry, who alerted us to the distressed animal. Members of the public can, likewise, help animals which are injured, sick or in distress, by alerting the SPCA on its 24-hour emergency hotline 62875355 ext 9.
