K was a dog kept in very bad condition next to a workshop by his owner. His owner was a low-income earner and could barely make ends meet. A kind woman had been feeding K and another dog kept there, the other dog was very ill and deteriorating fast – we very sadly had to put him down as he was in severe condition.
We eventually rescued K, and warned the owner not to take in any other dogs as he couldn’t care for them.
K allowed our officer KC to carry him out of his miserable living area, but as soon as he got to SPCA it was very difficult to even get near him as he was very timid and nervous. Our officers tried to rehabilitate him slowly, offering sausages and treats – but he would only eat when we were out of sight. We decided the best thing for him would to be neutered and release to an area where he could be fed daily by a community feeder, without having to be stressed with close human contact.
He was released along with another Trap-Neuter-Release dog (the black one) to a secluded area in KL, where the community feeder cares for a pack of other strays.
We hope you will have a better life now K, be a good boy!
