World Animal Day is just around the corner (4th October), and there’s no better way than to celebrate it than by learning more about animals, and finding out how to protect them and end animal cruelty – in a fun way of course!

On Sunday the 4th of October, we’re giving you the chance to do just that, at our exclusive event at Hong Lim Park (Speaker’s Corner). We have loads of activities lined up for you and all the family, and we’re shining the spotlight on Singapore’s amazing native wildlife!

ACRES is celebrating World Animal Day at Speakers’ Corner, by introducing Singapore’s very own wild animals, the threats they face, and how we can co-exist with and save them. “There’s wildlife in Singapore?!”Yes, and a whole range of wild animals share our island home, from mammals such as colugos, pangolins and long-tailed macaques, to reptiles like hawksbill turtles, crocodiles and flying lizards!
