CRUELTY CASE – UPDATES ON GOLDEN RETRIEVER AT YIO CHU KANG AREA

We thank everybody for the concern about the Golden Retriever that was tied outside the gate of a house around the Yio Chu Kang area.

Our Inspector attended to the case yesterday afternoon. The owners shared that they left the dog out to dry in the sun after its bath. Our Inspector advised the owner not to leash the dog outside of their compound, in addition to highlighting the discomfort the dog was experiencing, due to the height and length of how the leash was attached to the gate.

Before leaving, our Inspector also checked on the Golden Retriever, to ensure that there were no physical harm caused to the dog.

Our inspector will be doing a follow-up check in a weeks time.

We thank everyone for bringing this matter to our attention.
