AU REVOIR & BON VOYAGE MS. MANON PIOTUCH!

Manon is a 17 year old with much courage and determination! Despite the language barrier, she made the decision to travel to Singapore to volunteer with ACRES. During her volunteering days, we communicated through body language and simple English.

At the end of the day, Manon proved that she had overcome the initial communications barrier through her act of service, and showed that the duty to care for all lives spans across all languages and cultures!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
