THANK YOU DEBBY, YOUR TALK WAS AWE-SPIRATIONAL!

Debby is part of the team at The Hantu Bloggers, a local non-profit organisation dedicated to safeguarding Singapore’s natural marine heritage. She came to ACRES HQ to talk to us about the work she does, what challenges she faces, and how she has managed to pull through those difficulties to help marine animals.

Her team is the ONLY volunteer dive organisation in Singapore that conducts guided dives for anyone and everyone interested in exploring Singapore�s waters.

The ACRES staff learned a lot and came away from Debby�s talk refreshed, as many of the difficulties she faces relate to what we also face in our everyday operations. Thanks to her, we left the session with our heads up and a new found respect for people who go to great lengths to care for marine life!

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
