Photos From SPCA Penang's Post

From one of our adoption families:

“My SPCA dogs:

Rock and Charcoal

Both are fine. They are neither caged nor chained only leashed when out on walks most evenings.

Both are never allowed out in their own. My entire front porch & back yard has a roof with ceiling all the way to the gate and both areas have ceiling fans which are switched on in the afternoons. Both areas also very spacious, shady & green as u can see from photos just taken.

So Rock is quite old at 14. The other female black dog Kim (like a mixed alsation) died at age 16. A really fierce guard dog and very protective.

Charcoal Elroo (now 6) is a friend to all. Neighbours will stop at the gate to say hello or stop to pet her when she’s out on walks.

Molly”

SPCA Penang

SPCA Penang's main objectives are to prevent the unnecessary suffering of animals and to ensure responsible pet ownership. Hence the Society acts to prevent cruelty to animals and promotes kindness towards them by fostering an intelligent public interest regarding Man's duty animals.

Though the Society is sometimes compelled to put down an animal, our work covers a much more wider scope of rescuing, rehabilitating, healing and re-homing the animals.
