Supervisor: Senior Manager, Brand Activation, Marketing Department

Job scope

1. Work proactively with Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) and relevant external partners to plan and execute the Earth Hour 2017 Night Walk in Melaka on Saturday, 25 March 2017

2. Liaise with Supervisor, and coordinate meetings with MBMB, corporate partners, other relevant external partners and WWF-Malaysia Marketing team

3. Prepare paperwork and write minutes as well as attend all Earth Hour 2017 meetings in Melaka

4. Be the key WWF-Malaysia event manager and focal point for the Earth Hour 2017 Night Walk in Melaka on Saturday, 25 March 2017 and the pre-event media conference

5. If there are any hours not filled with Earth Hour 2017 tasks, assist the WWF-Malaysia Melaka Conservation Team as directed by the Team Leader. This includes assisting in research, policy as well as community engagement and awareness components as needed.

Outputs

1. All activities completed on deadline for the preparation of Earth Hour 2017

2. Smooth execution of Earth Hour 2017 ground event

3. Daily email updates to Supervisor

4. Agenda and minutes of Earth Hour 2017 meetings in Melaka

Requirements

1. Excellent time management and organisational skills, must always deliver by deadline

2. Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision

3. Able to drive in Melaka

4. Good communications skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

5. Experience with event management would be an advantage
