OUR YEAR IN REVIEW ANIMAL RESCUE

We operate a 24-hour emergency rescue service for animals that are sick, injured and in distress.

This year, we attended to almost 2,000 emergency calls ranging from cases involving animals on rooftops, ledges and in trees to animals in drains and canals and animals hit by vehicles.

In executing these rescue operations, our animal rescue officers often face risky situations. However, our dedicated officers do their best to bring the animal to safety.

Heres how you can help the animal if you come across one that is sick, injured or distressed :

1) Call us as soon as possible on our 24-hour hotline 6287 5355 ext 9 (do note that our social media platforms and email accounts are not manned 24/7) and provide details such as :

- the condition of the animal,

- your name and

- your contact number

We will dispatch our animal rescue officer to your location as soon as possible.

2) Help by bringing the animal to a safer location (eg : away from traffic) and confine it if possible (in a box or carrier etc).

3) If you are unable to do so, try to stay and keep an eye on the animal until our officer arrives as many times when our officer is onsite, the animal is nowhere in sight.

4) Alternatively, you would really help us increase the animals chance of survival by bringing it to a private vet as soon as possible.

We can all play a part in making a difference, in helping to save lives.
