Tiger Family

We are sharing never-before-seen footage of a tiger family in Sumatra!
A tigress (Rima) and her three cubs were caught on camera trap in Central Sumatra, a part of the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tiger cubs are born blind. They only gain their sight after 14 days after birth. Newborn cubs are entirely dependent on their mother for at least two months.
Ensuring that tiger landscapes are well-protected is key, if we are to ensure that tigers survive. WWF is driving TX2 – the ambitious global goal to double the number of the world’s wild tigers – and is working with governments, businesses and local communities to protect important tiger habitats.
