Updates On 6th Sep 2018

It was with great sadness we recently learned the death of Mr Kenneth William Scriven. As our first CEO, we pay tribute to Ken as he was affectionately known, who will always be remembered for establishing WWF in Malaysia and serving as a Founding Board member.

Ken led the development and management of some 250 projects in Malaysia related to the establishment of protected areas, studies on endangered species such as marine turtles, proboscis monkeys and orangutans, and also nature education in schools. His passion for the outdoors and nature conservation, especially birds, was exemplary.

We thank Ken for driving his vision in conservation since 1972 and all of us who had the privilege to work with him admired him for his leadership and dedication to the WWF Mission.

He will be greatly missed by everyone.
