My name is Khontee, and I am almost a year old. I have been homeless for as long as I can remember. I used to have a mum, but she’s gone now. I’m still basically a little boy, but I’ve had some big problems in my short life. Recently, my eye was really hurting, and I didn’t have my own human to make it better for me. I could hardly see out of it.

Soi Dog Foundation helps kitties like me (dogs, too) when we get into trouble. Would you please click https://bit.ly/HelpHurtandHomelessCats to help them? They care for homeless animals who get hurt or sick, or who have been attacked by other animals or abused by bad humans.

Some humans say black cats are bad luck. I’m a good boy who just seems to HAVE bad luck! But that changed the other day when I was found by a really nice human. He crouched down to have a look at me, and noticed I was in a very bad state. I heard later he was an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog Foundation.

The nice man looked so sad to see my eye! It must have looked as awful as it felt, because he quickly whisked me up and took me to the Soi Dog hospital. I was a little scared, but he was gentle, and I decided it would be OK to go with him.

When we arrived, I got a lot of attention from the nice people there in the orange and blue shirts. They carefully cleaned my eye with liquid on cotton swabs, and then put something creamy in it. It stung a bit, but my eye started to feel better very quickly. I was really glad, because it had been bothering me loads, and I didn’t know how to make it stop hurting.

Now I am recovering here at the Soi Dog shelter with other cats and dogs who were homeless and suffering like me. The humans said I am a little depressed, so I am getting medicine to help with that, and for my eye so it will heal really fast.

It’s awesome here. I can have as much good food as I like, and I get to sleep where it’s safe and comfortable. I would love to spend all nine of my lives here!

Humans like you who adore animals and wish the best for us make this wonderful place possible. Will you please give now to help keep it going for the other cats and dogs who will need it? Sadly, there are many more like me out there. https://bit.ly/HelpHurtandHomelessCats

Thank you.
