This Female Cat Is Fed By Emily At Jalan Ipoh. She..

This female cat is fed by Emily at Jalan Ipoh. She was caught and sent for spaying yesterday. She was spayed today and now going through post op a week before being released. Thanks so much Emily for helping her and also for sponsoring her spaying cost. We humbly would like to remind or educate the public that every dog or cat neutered should go under post op, AT LEAST 3 days for male and 5 days for female. At TNRM, we do a week for male and female. We were asked if they could be released on the same day after operation? The answer is NO. Common sense tells us that we don’t discharge ourselves from a hospital after a major op on the same day. We are here to help them, not harm them so a few bucks could be saved. We were also asked, why a week for male , isn’t that a waste of resources? Here’s why, when we catch, usually we don’t catch just one but we catch a few, male and female from one location. If we were to send the male back for release while the female is still under post op, we would have to run 2 trips to release them. That would be a more wastage of resources. Besides, it’s better to let the surgical wound heals completely before releasing them to their natural habitat. In life, usually it’s better to take chances but not in this case. Their lives are precious too.
