Dear all,

We are receiving countless requests to rescue dogs and pick-up puppies and we would like to assure you that we are trying our best.

However, the reality is that we are facing challenges such as space as well as the means to care for so many dogs.

The number of dogs rescued are increasing by the day – because we are so preoccupied with our sick and injured rescues, we have not posted many rescues that do not need any special care other than neutering and vaccination.

The conditional movement control order is also another challenge as our sanctuary, half-way-home, operations center and main volunteers’ homes are all in different districts.

People are also reluctant to go out and help rescue during the CMCO and we fully understand given the escalating number of Covid-19 cases at the moment.

Currently we have another badly injured dog apart from Yoko and we will b posting about her soon.

We truly thank you for your continued support and assure you we will do our very best for the voiceless.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
