Horrifyingly, someone had tightly wrapped a rubber band around this innocent girl’s leg. It had clearly been there, digging into her flesh, for a long time. There were horrible open wounds and the foot and joint were rotting away. We could see bones protruding out. We can only imagine the excruciating pain that Haroldy was in.

On top of this awful ordeal, she also had a severe fever, was extremely malnourished and had cat flu. It really was a dire situation for Haroldy. Although it was too late to save her leg, it was thankfully not too late to save her life.

Because of our amazing Care for Cats Club members, could we give this brave and striking girl the love and medical attention she urgently needed. She was so sick and weak that she needed a feeding tube to keep her alive. It took a whole month for her to turn a corner and to start grooming herself and purring once more. But all the hard work was worth it because Haroldy is now back to full health and is thriving as a tri-paw kitty! 🐾

We can’t bear to see animals in pain and will do everything we can to help them. But we can only continue to save kitties like Haroldy when people like you take action and join the Care for Cats Club. Every gift truly makes a difference. Whether a one-off gift or a monthly gift, every donation directly saves lives. Will you please join today to save more lives?
