残疾狗宝贝们的住所大改造 ~ 😍🐶

非常非常感谢马六甲爱心人士Annie和朋友们捐赠了5个白钢大笼子给园区的残疾狗狗们 ❤🙏

也很感激马六甲宠物店 Paragon Pets Lover Malacca 捐赠蓝色厚垫让我们铺在笼子给狗狗们休息，让它们能居住得更舒服，感恩大家！🙏🙇

(而我们在觉得笼子可以让狗狗们躺的更舒适后，过后也使用了HOPE的经费购进了多几个给所有宝贝们睡)

照顾残疾猫狗是件不简单的日常任务，单单处理大小便问题已是很累人 … 如果没有每天勤力处理干净，毛孩们的私处或尿道很容易受细菌感染，也每一天都需要抱上抱下清洗屁屁

因为心疼这些孩子被人类害得终身残疾，我们在能力范围内，都尽力给它们最好的

比起其他健全的狗狗，我们给残疾毛孩吃的狗粮，是园区里最贵、最优质的 … 加上每天大量使用的XL尺寸尿垫、关节和神经线补助品、每一晚睡前都不会少的零食等等等，开销真的不少

Changes of the houses of disabled dogs 😍🐶

Thank you very much to Annie and friends from Melaka for donating 5 large stainless steel cages to the disabled dogs in the shelter ❤🙏

We are also very grateful to the Malacca pet shop Paragon Pets Lover Malacca for donating blue thick mats for us to place in the cages for the dogs to rest, so that they can stay more comfortably, thank you everyone! 🙏🙇

(And after we felt that the cage is very suitable for the dogs to rest, we use HOPE funds to buy a few more for all the furbabies to sleep)

Taking care of disabled cats and dogs is not a simple daily task. It is tiring to deal with the problems of pee and poo alone… If we don’t work hard every day to clean up, the private parts or urethra of furkids are prone to bacterial infection, and we need to carry them up and down every day to clean their lower body.

Because we feel sorry for these furbabies being disabled for life caused by human beings, we try our best to give them the best we can.

Compared with other healthy dogs, the dog food we feed the disabled doggies is the most expensive and high-quality in the shelter … plus XL size pee pads that are used in large quantities every day, joint and nerve supplements, snacks that we never miss to give them every night before they sleep, and etc. All these costs quite a lot.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
