Before Polaris came to Soi Dog in 2016, he would roam the streets and take shelter in an abandoned building. It wasn’t much of a life, and it got even worse one day when he badly fractured his leg. He was weak and terrified when we found him. Our vets did all they could, but the bone had splintered into pieces and they had no choice but to amputate.

Polaris may be a tripaw, but he has just as much to offer as any of his four-legged friends. And although he’s moving into his senior years, he still has a great deal of energy and loves to play. Polaris is a Bangkeaw, a domestic Thai breed known for being playful, intelligent, brave and fiercely loyal companions.
