Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post

Arthur (formerly Fortis) and Severn were once a upon a time, rescue cats from the streets of Thailand. They had no one to look out for them. They didn’t know small comforts in life. But miracles happen.

Now they are living their #furrytailending with their forever family in the UK.

Read their amazing journey below.

In August of 2018, two volunteers came to Soi Dog Foundation, Thailand, to help the cats and dogs at the shelter. They spent their summer vacation, hoping to give back to the cats and dogs who relied on people like them to feel loved and hopefully restore their trust in humans too.

What they didn’t anticipate was making 2 such souls part of their family. Forever!.

They came across an emaciated Severn, who was by the side of the road, with no one to care for her or her very young babies. They were later brought into the shelter because their lives were in danger.

Since older cats sometimes have a hard time getting adopted, this young couple decided to give Severn a home with them.

A few months before Severn came to the shelter, Arthur was another homeless cat that was brought into Soi Dog Foundation’s cat hospital, after he was hit by a car. It was nearly a week after his accident that someone found him with a fractured jaw and teeth and also trauma to his eye. He was brought to Soi Dog Foundation, for treatment. Arthur’s eye had to be removed and his jaw operated on, but he made a full recovery as you can see in these pictures made a full recovery.

Arthur was then moved from the cat hospital to the adoption suites where he spent his days talking to all visitors and claiming their laps.

Even though Severn’s rescuers had already decided to adopt Severn, when they met Arthur, they were also charmed by his comical character and moved by his tragic past. After a lot of thought the couple decided to offer both these super survivors a home so that they could experience what life should truly be like for a cat.

Earlier this year, Arthur and Severn both travelled to their new family and have now made friends with the rest of their family. They are living the dream now with friends, family and a life full of no cares. A life that ALL cats deserve.

They are the lucky ones.

THANK YOU for making these #furrytailendings possible.
