Good Things Come To Those Who Wait, Like The Love ..

Good things come to those who wait, like the love and trust of our 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Berdigan: https://links.soidog.org/dog-of-the-week-berdigan

Our rescue officers brought Berdigan to the shelter after his feeder reported him injured, having been hit by a car. He was just a puppy at the time, no more than two months old.

Berdigan’s left hind leg was fractured in two places, and it took two surgeries to get the bones back into alignment again. He bears the surgical scar to this day – a jagged line on his thigh that reminds us of his quiet bravery and resilience.

Given Berdigan’s past, it’s no wonder he’s not the type of dog to run straight into your arms on first meeting. But once he knows you, he certainly will.

This video gives a good idea of what it might be like to welcome Berdigan home: cautious and curious at first before relaxing into his true goofy and affectionate self.
