Palm oil produces more oil per land area than any other vegetable oil crop. Certified palm oil protects the environment and the people who depend on it for livelihood. It’s based on a set of criteria which define good practices within the industry. Please join us in asking companies to use only certified sustainable palm oil in their products. With all the bad rep that palm oil is getting recently, we feel that it’s best to get the facts straight. Did you know that…

1) Palm oil is found in most of the items you use in your daily life, from foods to cosmetics to household products.

2) When grown responsibly and sustainably, palm oil the highest yielding vegetable oil, and substituting it with other oils will require more land to be used.

3) Boycotts or substitutions will not protect or restore the rainforest, but companies being more sustainable in their production and consumption of palm oil will.

So, please join us in asking for more companies to use only certified sustainable palm oil in their products. Together, we can make a difference. 🙂
