Dear all,

Residents in a housing area in Shah Alam are trapping dogs and sending them to the local council. This dog was caught and sent to the pound and when its feeder went to get it out, she was told she would be given the dog only if an NGO takes it in. We gave a letter saying that we would take the dog and once it was busted out if the pound, doggo was sent to vet for neutering, vaccinations and one month quarantine. The vet is charging RM2,500 for the entire package. If you are able to help, we would be very grateful, pls transfer amount to clinic directly and post slip here or WhatsApp it to 0122501497. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
