For The Last, But Certainly Not Least, Species In ..

For the last, but certainly not least, species in our Malaysian primates series, we’ll be introducing you to the White-thighed Surili! 🐒🐵

Their name comes from the white patches of fur on their legs 🦵, a tell-tale sign that helps you identify them. These cute creatures can be found in primary and secondary rainforests, swamp mangrove forests and even rubber tree plantations where they play an important part in the biodiversity of the environment. 🌳☀️

Sadly, this means that they also face threats like habitat destruction, which is why forest reserves are so important, and any land-clearing activities should happen responsibly.

Swipe to learn some fun facts about the White-thighed Surili and follow us for more wildlife content! 🌏🌱
