We are proud to bring you news from the 2024 National Forum to End the Philippine Dog Meat Trade.⁠ 🇵🇭

Held on January 26th in Metro Manila, the forum was organised by Soi Dog Foundation, along with our partner organisation Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) plus the Bureau of Animal Industries (BAI) and the Department of Agriculture.⁠

The forum brought together delegates across the country – from local government units, to veterinary departments, to the National Committee on Animal Welfare, to the Philippine National Police.⁠

Our unified goal: to make the Philippines a dog meat-free nation.⁠

Soi Dog shared insights on the way forward and highlighted our petition letter which has over 856,000 signatures urging action.⁠

The forum closed with a firm commitment to work together to end the trade once and for all.⁠ 🤝

Soi Dog Foundation
