Last Wednesday, we were fortunate to participate as an exhibitor for the Closing Ceremony of the Cultural Exchange Programme with the Aboriginal Education Centre. This event coincided with the celebration of Wetlands Day at Ancasa Royale Pekan Hotel, Pahang.

Alongside other organisations, we exhibited our turtle specimens and turtle-batik products for the showcase. In addition, a group of exchange students from the University of Adelaide, Australia, along with Orang Asli of the Semelai and Jakun communities who reside in the Pahang wetland ecosystem, also attended this ceremony together. 👏🏻

The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Kebawah Duli Yang Teramat Mulia, Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. He emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in preserving the wetland ecosystem in Pahang, urging all stakeholders to actively participate in this endeavour.

We thank Enggang Sdn. Bhd. and Majlis Biodiversiti Pahang for inviting us, and we look forward to our collaboration this year. ✨🌱
