Help Us Save Mddb Our Final Call To Keep 400 Dogs ..

HELP US SAVE MDDB – OUR FINAL CALL TO KEEP 400 DOGS SAFE, FED AND CARED FOR.

Dear friends and animal lovers,

We’re at a crossroads.

After years of rescuing, feeding, and caring for over 400 abused, abandoned, and disabled dogs, Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) is facing a critical financial crisis.

We’ve been told that the way we fundraise — asking separately for each need — may have caused confusion or donor fatigue.

So we’re trying something different.

One unified, transparent campaign to cover our entire monthly cost of keeping MDDB going — a last-ditch effort to save our sanctuary.

Here’s what it takes to keep 400 dogs safe and cared for each month:

*Rice (210 bags): RM7,560

*Kibble (180 bags): RM9,900

*Chicken, pork and vegetables: RM10,000

*Halfway Home rent (disabled, old, and palliative care dogs): RM4,000

*Utilities (water and electricity for both facilities): RM10,000

*Cleaning, medication, flea and tick control, and supplies: RM10,000

*Vet visits: RM5,000

*Transport costs: RM2,000

*Wages for 12 hardworking staff: RM24,400

That’s RM181.90 per dog monthly— to feed them, shelter them, treat them, and give them the life they deserve.

We’ve poured everything into MDDB.

We don’t want to give up.

But we can’t do this alone.

Please help us keep MDDB alive. One-time or recurring donations — any amount helps.

And if you can’t give, please share.

You may help us reach someone who can.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
